About the Role

At First Student Canada, we are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will play a critical role in safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
