School District #10 (Arrow Lakes) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to fill the role of Athletic Director. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our school's physical education and health education programs, while also contributing to the overall academic and extracurricular success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive physical education and health education programs that promote student engagement, physical activity, and overall well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and community members to create a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student learning and development.
- Design and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers and staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in physical education and health education.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and facilities to support physical education and health education programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with parents, community members, and local organizations to promote school programs and services.
- Master's degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in secondary physical education and health education teaching and leadership.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful physical education and health education programs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
