Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our team at AutoTrader. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our AI products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement predictive modeling techniques to improve customer experiences across our products and services.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to prototype new ideas, models, and data-driven solutions.
  • Utilize cloud resources to automate and productionalize data science processes.
  • Develop enrichment processes and procedures to improve data cleanliness, usability, and understanding.
  • Proactively monitor and optimize Machine Learning models, their performance, output, and accuracy.
  • Manage large-scale data processing systems for preparing structured and unstructured data for analytic modeling.
  • Work with Support Teams to troubleshoot and identify customer-reported issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an Azure environment or other cloud environments.
  • Equivalent of 5-10+ years related work experience.
  • Scientific approach, curiosity, creativity, and passion for finding truth in data.
  • Excellent team player with interpersonal skills.
  • University degree in STEM field.
  • Expert level in Python and SQL querying skills.
  • Previous experience with training and maintaining ML models.
  • Experience with analytical tools and techniques.
  • Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and wrangling.
  • Experience using structured and unstructured data, from internal and external sources.
  • Initiative and ability to work with little supervision in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams to achieve organization's goals.
