Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Operator, Heavy Equipment to join our team at SSR Mining. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of ore and waste rock.

About the Role:

  • Operate 30- & 40-ton trucks and 2,4,6,8-yard scoops in a hard rock underground mining environment.
  • Ensure compliance with scaling procedures and underground emergency protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport ore and waste rock in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform various duties related to production and development, as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience working in a hard rock underground mining operation.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience on mine haulage trucks.
  • Manual and remote scoop tram experience is an asset.
  • Previous mine rescue training is also considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

This is a fly-in/fly-out position with a schedule of two (2) weeks on, two (2) weeks off. You will be required to fly in and out of the site on designated days from a pick-up point in either Saskatoon, Prince Albert or La Ronge.
