Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at GreenTech Resources Worldwide Canada. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs, using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems, and providing excellent customer service while explaining automotive repairs and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems and repair procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while explaining automotive repairs and issues.
  • Repair procedures should be planned using charts, manuals, and experience.
  • Parts and systems must be tested for functionality.
  • Replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other components.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and general mechanic work.
  • Assist in keeping the repair shop clean and organized.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • Experience with automotive and engine repair or auto mechanic training is required.
  • Certifications from ASE are necessary.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Associates degree in auto maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to present a professional image while providing friendly customer service.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience as a lube technician or prepared to do on-the-job training.
  • Understanding of automotive air conditioning systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
  • Experience with heavy equipment and as a diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared to do on-the-job training.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Observant and meticulous.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
