Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our Transportation Development & Support (TD&S) Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing business software that improves business decisions in a high-performance international shipping network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities to support goals and objectives of assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and external client groups to drive efficiencies and better decision support for Transportation.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines in support of project implementations and designs.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of sustainable applications.
  • Act as a change agent or subject matter expert for change initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years' experience in a Programmer Analyst role.
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline.
  • High proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Api, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Angular/Vue/React, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, ETL tools, and Bitbucket.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of multi-tier applications and database design.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs and deliver successful solutions.
  • Experience with SDLC using formal methodologies.
  • Knowledge and interest in industry best practices regarding software development standards and practices.
