Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Boston Pizza International, Inc. (Calgary). As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, including training, development, staffing, scheduling, and performance management of our Front of House team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead by example and work alongside your team members to ensure exceptional customer service and a positive work environment.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and customer service.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that all guests receive an exceptional dining experience, from start to finish.
    • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and drive business growth.
    • Build relationships with local suppliers and vendors to negotiate better deals and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
