Job Description

The Event Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the setup and maintenance of conference rooms and lounges in accordance with Aramark's standards, safety rules, and sanitation policies. This includes setting up, maintaining, breaking down, and cleaning for food and beverage special events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer interaction and service.
  • Set up conference rooms and lounges according to specifications provided by conference planners.
  • Ensure rooms are set to standard using a quality assurance inspection sheet before events begin.
  • Report any maintenance issues by completing a work order.
  • Maintain meeting room supplies and refresh rooms after each event.
  • Assist guests with questions and provide support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members.
  • Attend daily conference services line up.
  • Work in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely setup and maintenance of rooms.
  • Prefer one year of experience as a banquet set-up person at a hotel.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
