Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team at Dot-lyn Sales And Service. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Replace Body Components
    • Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
    • File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Operate Equipment and Tools
    • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
    • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
  • Inspect and Test Vehicles
    • Inspect vehicles to identify areas that require repair
    • Test vehicles to ensure repairs are completed to a high standard
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment
    • Clean and maintain work space
    • Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the automotive repair industry
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
