Job Summary

GOLD LEAF TRUCK LINES INC. is seeking a skilled Transportation Logistics Supervisor to oversee the operational logistics of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arranging for maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operation of logistics operations
  • Ensure the efficient operation of computer equipment and machinery
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to minimize downtime
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize logistics operations
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
