Painter Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Gurudatta Construction Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, as well as repairing cracks and holes. Additionally, the candidate should be able to mix paint to the desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings. The successful candidate will work on site, completing tasks such as applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, and estimating costs and materials.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Estimate costs and materials

Requirements

- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work Environment
