Concrete Mason

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at 9720413 Canada Ltd. As a Concrete Mason, you will be responsible for laying and finishing concrete to create a strong and durable foundation for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Concrete Laying: Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specification.
- Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement, impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Compaction: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
- Installation: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures.
- Surface Preparation: Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces.
- Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
As a Concrete Mason, you will work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in industrial settings. You will be exposed to dust, heat, noise, and physical demands of the job.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
- Parking: Parking available on site.
