CareerArc is seeking a Support Services Worker to join our team. As a Support Services Worker, you will provide personalized support and homemaking services to clients, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to promote client independence and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate client home environments, personal situations, and care plans to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the Personal Support Program Manager.
- Provide personal support tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, according to client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care provided.
To be successful in this role, you will require a certificate in Personal Support Worker program or diploma in Developmental Services Worker, Home Support Worker (Level II, III), or Health Care Aide. A current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate is also necessary. Household management experience and working with elderly or ill individuals or children are valuable assets.
This position demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
