Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Wetaskiwin Hospital. As a key member of our nursing care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
- One year experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Department
- Strong communication skills both written and orally
Preferred Qualifications:
- ENPEP-Emergency Nursing Provincial Education Program
- CAM-A-Cardiac Arrest Management-A module
- ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Trauma Nursing Core Course
- Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certification
