Join Our Team as an Activity Aide/Restorative Care Aide Part-time

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activity Aide Part-time to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in bringing joy and fun to our residents, while ensuring their safety, health, and happiness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate individual and group activities in collaboration with the Manager.
  • Prepare for activities and assist residents to the activity areas.
  • Assist residents during activities and report any significant changes to the Manager and nursing staff as appropriate.
  • Maintain program records according to department policy.
  • Work with other departments to meet resident needs.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, or a related field.
  • Passion for helping others and ability to bring fun and joy to tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience in working with the senior population.
  • Availability to work weekends.
