We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician to join our team at Labrador Grenfell Health. As an Obstetrician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality prenatal and postnatal care to our patients.

• Diagnose and Treat Maternal Health Issues: Diagnose and treat a range of maternal health issues, including pregnancy-related complications and postpartum care.
• Prescribe Medication and Treatment: Prescribe medication and treatment plans for patients with various maternal health conditions.
• Supervise Surgical Procedures: Supervise and assist with surgical procedures, including cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries.
• Provide Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients and their families on maternal health and wellness.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including midwives, nurses, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

• Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
• Experience: Experience in obstetrics and maternal health care is an asset.
• Certifications and Licenses: Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities is required.
