Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bakery Assistant to join our team at Cobs Bread. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and high-quality products. In this role, you will work closely with our bakers to prepare and package bread and bakery items for sale, as well as assist with inventory management and store maintenance.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with the preparation and packaging of bread and bakery items for sale
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors
  • Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient and effective operations


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
