Production Coordinator

About the RoleThis position reports to the Operations Director and involves leading and coordinating production activities in cleanrooms for the manufacturing of space products at the ABB Measurement & Analysis site located in Quebec, QC.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate, prioritize, and monitor the assembly and testing required for the manufacturing of space systems.
- Lead capacity planning and resource optimization.
- Proactively escalate issues.
- Identify production shortcomings, propose improvements, and oversee their implementation.
- Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and technical facilities.
- Work closely with quality department experts to identify and resolve non-conformities.
- Lead and support problem investigations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Director and Project Manager to ensure the team is properly organized and staffed with competent personnel.
- Work closely with the project planner to ensure a flow of materials that supports schedule success.
- Report to the Project Manager and clients on productivity KPIs.
- Ten years of experience in industrial production, as a supervisor or team leader, preferably in a technology-focused field.
- Proven experience working on a production line.
- Knowledge of SAP and VKS is an asset.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and oral communication skills.
- DEC or BAC in an engineering, scientific, or technical field.
- Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
