Startup Solutions Architect

Are you passionate about working with startups and helping them grow in the cloud? We're looking for a talented Solutions Architect to join our AWS Startup Solutions Architecture team.

About the Role

We're dedicated to working with early-stage startup companies as they build their businesses. Our team is passionate about helping startups deploy the best, most scalable, and most secure architectures possible – and that they spend as little time and money as possible doing so.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll work directly with a variety of interesting customers and help them make the best technical decisions along the way. You'll also play an important role as an advocate with our product teams to make sure we're building the right products for the startups you work with.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with startup customers to provide them with technical advocacy as they build their products in the cloud.
  • Create plans, in conjunction with other members of customer account teams, to define how you'll help your customers with their cloud needs.
  • Share your technical knowledge broadly by participating in select, startup-focused sessions with larger groups of customers.
  • Work with other teams at AWS to contribute to the creation of content that can be delivered to the broader startup community at scale.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
