We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at ESSKAY HOMES INC.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position requiring 35 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing apprentices, studying plans and specifications, trimming joints, sanding wooden surfaces, and applying finishes.
Key Responsibilities:- Instruct and mentor junior cabinetmakers
- Study and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble and trim cabinetry components
- Sand and finish wooden surfaces
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
To be considered for this role, you must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent, as well as relevant experience in the field of cabinetmaking. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment and ConditionsThis position requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to lift and maneuver heavy materials with ease.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience. You will also receive free parking and access to a competitive benefits package.
