Job Summary

The Home Care Aide will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide personal care services to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene
  • Preparing meals
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks
  • Accompanying clients on outings
  • Shopping and errands
  • Assisting with medication reminders
  • Ambulating and transporting clients
  • Providing companionship to clients

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A HCA certificate or equivalent
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Current CPR/First Aid training
  • A negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • The ability to travel around the location territory
  • Access to the internet and a mobile phone
