Lasta Cafe Ltd. is a dynamic and fast-paced bakery and cafe that is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary

The Bakery Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and assisting with the preparation and display of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
  • Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Supervision: Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff, and ensure that the work environment is safe and clean.
  • Operations: Assist with the operation of machinery, and oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, manual dexterity, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, hand-eye coordination.
