We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Incomatic Accounting Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate
  • Organized

Work Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • Work Language: English
