Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping and maintenance team as a part-time janitorial assistant. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our Long-Term Care facility.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize cleaning agents to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures regarding infection prevention and control, quality assurance, fire, and safety.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend in-service education programs as assigned.
  • Collaborate with other departments on tasks such as transferring residents, moving, ordering and storing supplies, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy objects, move equipment, and climb ladders.
  • Capacity to work safely and follow established safety practices.
  • Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required.
