Job Title: Merchandising Sales Associate

Job Summary:

As a Merchandising Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling merchandise and ensuring pricing accuracy, while providing exceptional customer service and support. You will work closely with our sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of our merchandise sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Upsell and sell merchandise to customers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing accuracy
  • Collect payments and process transactions
  • Redeem coupons and process returns
  • Cross-sell products and introduce new merchandise
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide relevant information
  • Greet customers and maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
  • Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
Requirements:
  • Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain information
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Have a professional and clean appearance with a straight posture
  • Be physically able to stand for long periods
  • Understand customer service and hospitality principles
  • Work well with others and be a team player
  • Pay attention to details and work efficiently under pressure
  • Have a welcoming and friendly attitude
  • Know when to seek assistance from a supervisor
