Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Chevron Gas Station. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
