About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Michael Attia Pharmacien Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Accuracy: Ensure that prescription information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Client Data Entry: Enter client information into our database system.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Prescription Records: Maintain accurate prescription records and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Medication Preparation: Prepare medications for clients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Compound and Package: Compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products as required.
  • Third-Party Billing: Bill third-party insurers for services rendered.
  • Compound Solutions: Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams as required.
Requirements
  • Certification: Pharmacy technician certification is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, organized, team player, flexibility, and ability to multitask.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
Work Environment

This is a temporary position working 35 to 40 hours per week in a pharmacy or drugstore setting.

The successful candidate will be bilingual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
