Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a key role in identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
Responsibilities:- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
- Collect and screen applicants, and advise them on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Computer and technology knowledge, including human resources software.
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
