Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our buses, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • CVIP Inspections: Conduct Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) inspections to ensure our vehicles meet regulatory standards.
  • Breakdown Response: Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
  • Seasonal Maintenance: Perform seasonal maintenance tasks, such as winterizing and de-winterizing our vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Ticket: Possess a valid Journeyman ticket in automotive repair.
  • Criminal Record Check: Have a clear criminal record check.
  • CVIP License: Hold a valid CVIP license.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess a set of hand tools and be willing to invest in additional equipment as needed.
