Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wentworth Halton X-Ray & Ultrasound. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray and mammography
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved training program in radiography
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Knowledge of and adherence to the CMRTO's Essential Competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule

As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will work a regular Monday-to-Friday schedule, with opportunities for part-time or casual relief positions. We offer a range of shifts to accommodate your needs and preferences.
