We are seeking a skilled Process Control Specialist to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced Process Control (APC) Certification is preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI Historian for real-time data acquisition, storage, analysis, and visualization in an industrial or process control environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, ESVT/EST, Honeywell TPS / TDC3000.
  • Familiarity with process controllers: C300, C200, HPM, APM, and third-party PLC/devices integration to DCS.
  • Industrial Communication skills: Modbus RTU & Modbus TCP/IP, Serial Communication RS 485, RS 422, RS 232, Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE), Ethernet, and OPC connectivity between Process control servers and other 3rd party servers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for routine monitoring of APCs, troubleshooting issues, communicating with Process Engineers and Panel operators, and evaluating the performance of soft sensors. They will also develop new APC solutions, maintain existing applications, and train Operators and other interested parties.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
