About the Role:

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Agronomist to join our team. As a key member of our Agro team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance crop yields, improve quality, and increase profitability for our customers.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to our Agro Manager on complex business combinations, acquisitions, and transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Lead field tours, informational meetings, and trials to showcase our products and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external professionals to drive business success.
  • Participate in project planning and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Mitigate risk and liability by ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and adhering to our company's policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in agricultural development and crop management.
  • Strong technical expertise and knowledge of agricultural practices.
