Job Summary

Fountain Tire (South London) is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating passenger, light truck, medium truck, and commercial tires and wheels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, balance, and rotate tires and wheels for various vehicle types
  • Complete and maintain safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, and Rim Safety
  • Ensure personal and coworker safety
  • Maintain tire service equipment
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retreading, and nitrogen inflation
  • Assist with inventory management and documentation

Working Conditions

  • Team environment with a focus on hard work, communication, and safety
  • Physically demanding role with consistent hard work
  • Consistent lifting of weights up to 55lbs
  • Unpredictable work environment with potential exposure to wet, cold, and windy conditions

Requirements

  • Previous commercial tire experience, preferably 1 year or more
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Availability for after-hours and weekend shifts, including field service
  • Commercial Tire Installer Certificate
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
