Job Description
Fed Supply, a specialist in supply chain, logistics, transportation, and customer service, is seeking a Purchasing Professional for its custom furniture manufacturing client based in Sainte-Thérèse. The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing management, logistics, or relevant training, with the ability to read and interpret 2D technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan purchases in line with project planning.
  • Develop and qualify a network of reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide estimating support by soliciting bids from suppliers, communicating with vendors, and filing bids to ensure effective purchasing follow-up.
  • Analyze purchase requests and determine procurement strategies in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Place orders with suppliers and maintain supplier and subcontractor database.
  • Check inventory levels and adjust sources quarterly in line with price changes and delivery times.
  • Validate and forward invoices in accordance with current invoicing procedures.
  • Monitor orders in progress and make any necessary reminders.
  • Manage internal and external non-conformities and associated documentation.
  • Update the department's monitoring tables and performance indicators, and report on the progress of purchasing files.
  • Coordinate site deliveries to ensure compliance with deadlines and project requirements.
