Job Summary

Harris Oceanside Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Repair Automotive Issues: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair complex automotive problems, ensuring that our customers receive safe and reliable vehicles.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure our customers' vehicles run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Estimate and Repair Parts and Labour: Accurately estimate the cost of repairs and perform high-quality work to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Advise Customers: Provide expert advice to customers on vehicle maintenance and repair, ensuring they understand the work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Area of Specialization: Engine repair, diagnostics, brake system
  • Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
