Business Analyst Job Description

At Intelliware, we're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in guiding product development from conception to launch, collaborating closely with technical leads, delivery managers, business sponsors, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with clients to understand business requirements, document them, and translate them into functional requirement specifications.
  • Orchestrate backlog, prioritize/update requirements, and write quality user stories.
  • Gather and process business information related to procedures and data to clarify business issues/requirements.
  • Balance and satisfy needs of the business, end user, and technical stakeholders, ensuring alternatives have been investigated and there is an understanding of implementation trade-offs.
  • Facilitate relationships with team and clients in the project room, ensuring a high degree of engagement resulting in a shared understanding of requirements, plans, implementation, and delivery realities.
  • Ensure quality of the developed solution: it meets business functional requirements and is production-ready.
  • Facilitate agile practices and ceremonies within the project team.
  • Support the planning, management, and delivery of project deliverables in the project room.
  • Identify project scope and timeline risks/issues and facilitate or escalate for resolution.
  • Collaborate with development team to deliver projects on-time and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to ensure successful delivery of development scope and goals.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience.
  • Solid understanding of technology.
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for Agile approaches to software development.
  • Ability to consolidate diverse business requirements and facilitate realistic, common-sense solutions.
  • Proven client-facing, partnership, and presentation skills.
  • Strong facilitation, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
