At T-shirt Time, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who can effectively manage and supervise a team of sales workers, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of retail management experience and be fluent in English.

The successful candidate will also provide support for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities by offering mentorship programs and awareness training.

Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure effective team performance
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training
  • Teach interest or professional development courses to enhance employee skills
  • Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise for inventory replenishment
  • Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5-10 years of supervisory experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal)
