Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join our team at SmartSweets. As a key member of our Squad, you'll play a vital role in driving our success by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to predict future product demand.

You'll work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to understand promotional activities, new product launches, and market changes that impact demand. Your expertise in coordinating with Procurement, Production, and Logistics will ensure that the right amount of product is available at the right place at the right time.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Demand Planning and Order Management, with a dotted line to the Project Manager. The position is hybrid in Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to predict future product demand.
  2. Collaborate with both Sales and Supply Chain teams to monitor retailer stock levels and adjust internal replenishment strategies accordingly.
  3. Work closely with Sales and Marketing to understand promotional activities, new product launches, and market changes that impact demand.
  4. Coordinate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics to ensure that the right amount of product is available at the right place at the right time.
  5. Continuously monitor the accuracy of their forecasts and adjust them as needed based on real-time data, customer feedback, or any unexpected changes in the market.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Demand Planning.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience in Supply Chain analysis, Logistics, Inventory Management, and Project Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Previous experience in CPG/Food/Textiles required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain concepts, inventory management, logistics, and procurement processes.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience in ERP's an asset (ie: Netsuite or SAP).
  • Experience with advanced analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheets).
  • Strong communication (verbally and within presentations) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams from Senior Management to Coordinators.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an asset.

Benefits
  • Approximate base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.
  • This position is eligible for participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results.
