Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Logistics and Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent schedule, requiring 35 to 44 hours of work per week. The primary language of work is English.
