Furniture Installation Specialist

Heritage Office Furnishings seeks a skilled Office Furniture Installer to support the growth and operation of our organization.

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication, strong work ethics, a team player attitude, and a professional image.

The successful candidate must have previous experience with systems furniture installation and be able to read and interpret blueprints.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building on customer experience by providing outstanding installation services on client sites
  • Understanding and utilizing hand/power tools for the assembly of office furniture
  • Utilizing proper/safe lifting and moving techniques to avoid damage to furniture, walls, door frames, and elevators during the movement of goods
  • Performing job site finishing techniques, including wiping down all furniture components, vacuuming areas as required, and professionally detailing furniture from the inside out
  • Providing effective communication with Junior Installers, Lead Hands, and Dispatchers

Required qualifications include:

  • Previous office furniture installation or carpentry experience
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • Excellent attention to detail and good follow-through
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a true team environment
