About the Role

Terrace is a culturally rich and outdoor paradise, featuring world-class skiing, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. As a hub community for the northwest, it serves as a central location for the region.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Shift Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to create a positive guest experience throughout the casino, every shift. This includes maintaining a clean and welcoming environment from the entrance to all guest areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming every guest as they walk by, making eye contact and acknowledging them
  • Adhering to all standard operating procedures while finding creative solutions to ensure service excellence
  • Preparing for your shift by ensuring well-stocked supplies, including vacuum, mop, and dusters
  • Displaying a positive can-do attitude at all times, even under stress
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships and communication with every team member to support shared goals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping is an asset
  • Desire to work as a team player and establish a connection with coworkers and management to cultivate a positive atmosphere
  • Proficient in English
  • Attention to detail and pride in a quality job done well

Additional Requirements:

  • The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Enforcement Branch (GEB)
