The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is seeking a Physician Clinical Associate to join the Division of Developmental Pediatrics at BC Children's Hospital/Sunny Hill Health Centre and the University of British Columbia.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Physician Clinical Associate, you will be responsible for providing medical management services to children with developmental disorders, working closely with the Developmental Pediatrician assigned to the pediatric inpatient rehabilitation unit, and collaborating with the inter-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based medical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide medical management services to children with developmental disorders
- Work closely with the Developmental Pediatrician assigned to the pediatric inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Collaborate with the inter-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based medical services
- Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a Medical Degree and be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC). Experience in General Pediatrics is considered an asset.
