Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at EMAAN EXCAVATING AND CONSTRUCTION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as backhoe excavators and loaders in various construction settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to prevent accidents
  • Prepare accident reports and secure special attachments to equipment as needed
  • Operate GPS and communication equipment to stay connected with team members
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction or residential construction
  • Physical demands of the job include working outdoors and being physically active
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
  • Fluency in English language
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in various weather conditions and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
