We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team in a hybrid contract role. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to contribute their expertise in Python and SQL to drive quality assurance and testing excellence.

About the Role

As a Senior SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing automated tests, validating data, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team will make you a valuable asset to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated test plans for various product features using Python and SQL.
  • Analyze user needs to plan testing and quality assurance requirements, identifying quality issues and creating detailed test reports.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (architects, developers, etc.) and external stakeholders as needed to resolve issues.
  • Validate data from source to target, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/SDET roles, with 2+ years of Python development experience, including automating test scripts.
  • Strong experience with SQL queries, T-SQL development, and SQL stored procedures.
  • Proficiency with Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
