About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Whitby. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' mobility devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair mobility equipment, including manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and elevating equipment such as stairlifts, ceiling lifts, and vertical platform lifts.
  • Deliver a Motion customer experience by building trusting relationships with our clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Be flexible and mobile, traveling to clients' homes and facilities to provide services.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Exposure to using diagnostic tools, electronic equipment, and completing mechanical repairs.
  • An interest in or knowledge of mobility products is beneficial.
  • An avid troubleshooter, you are innovative and efficient in your approach to solving problems.
  • You can lift up to fifty (50) pounds to move or repair equipment and devices.
  • You have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; travel to client sites is occasionally required.
