Traffic Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled General Traffic Manager to join our team at Phoenix Traffic Control Ltd.
Job SummaryThe General Traffic Manager will be responsible for managing the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Transportation Management: Arrange for shipping documentation and track goods in transit, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
- Negotiations: Negotiate for services and preferential rates with suppliers.
- Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, and monitor revenue.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 11-15 people.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, analytical, proactive, punctuality.
The General Traffic Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload and workload. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.
Language and Work HoursThe language of work is English, and the work hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
