About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Helper to join our team at Power Frost AC & Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers with various tasks, including loading and unloading construction materials, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning up chemical spills and removing rubble and debris
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
Support for Newcomers and Refugees

As a Plumber Helper, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others by providing assistance with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and storage.

  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
  • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
Work Environment

As a Plumber Helper, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and our company's facilities. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on safety.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
