Key Responsibilities
  • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions to meet their needs.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating to management as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, and setting up and maintaining product displays.
  • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, and identify high-shrink items to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
  • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, and administer required paperwork and documentation.
  • Refer service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong customer service focus and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
