We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our gastroenterology services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice in gastroenterology, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Participate in call rotation and provide support to your own site and other sites in the Western Zone as required.
- Be responsible to the Zone Department Head for Internal Medicine for professional responsibilities and quality of practice.
- Operate with the Medical Staff Bylaws of Nova Scotia Health.
- Participate in teaching and education of medical students and internal medicine residents and fellows.
- Must be a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or eligible to take the Fellowship Exam in Internal Medicine.
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
