Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a Physician Assistant, you will work in a collaborative environment with a physician to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and interpret medical information to make appropriate clinical decisions
  • Carry out diagnostic and therapeutic interventions within a formalized Physician/PA relationship agreement
  • Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a recognized accredited PA educational program
  • Membership and licensure in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) as a Physician Assistant
  • Certified with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical experience working as a PA in a related clinical field
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (PALS)
  • Current ATLS Certification (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
